Using the Optimost QA tool covered in this thread:
http://devnet.interwoven.com/forums_vb/showthread.php?t=28277&forumid=89 one may notice that counters called inside frames throw a javascript error when the QA tool is on. This does not mean that the counter won't work. What's happening is that the counter code is attempting to open a new window, however, being inside a frame, it does not have permission to do so. Opening the URL of the counter directly in another window will allow the popup to be produced normally.
