Content XML broken

We have experienced two issues with livesite components (working with version LiveSite 3.0.2).

1. A component that has a Prefix Method in the external call, whenever you preview this component (working on the component itself, as a developer) and then change something to the 'default content', the structure of the content XML is changed. The Prefix Method tag(s) will be put below the Method tags resulting in an error when you try to save or preview again.

2. When a component has been changed and is then updated on a page, the component sometimes becomes impossible to edit, since not all the fields are shown anymore, or are not properly shown (sometimes the component window will end in some HTML showing as text, not even the apply or close buttons appear anymore). When checking the code of the page file itself, we have noticed that a group element is put after the external tags, causing malfunctioning of the component edit window.

2. Can you post the page file when this happens so we can see how it got corrupted?
