Portal 8.5 user creation

I have portal 8.5 installed, When I try to create a user from the console, I get an error - Timezone field contains an invalid integer value.

Any idea?

is this a clean Portal 8.5 or Upgraded from previous version to Portal 8.5 , if you have upgraded Portal 8.5 in a cluster env , in the secondary node you will face the issue mentioned and need to follow the workaround mentioend below

for the subsequent nodes only from <portalInstallDir>/bin directory execute the below

runs_with_classpath com.epicentric.conversion.TimeZoneDescriptionUpdateConversion

Make sure that your timezone field type is "java.lang.String" in entity_management.xml located at <portal install dir>/config has the following:

           <entity-property-descriptor id="timezone"
                title="Time Zone"
                description="The user's prefered timezone."
                type="java.lang.String"
                field-length="64"
                editable="true"
                searchable="true"
                displayable="true"
                required="false"
                unique="false"
                />
