sitemap goes down when adding new workarea in Teamsite

Sitemap operation get hanged when new workarea are created in Teamsite.

Is anybody faced this problem before?

Environment Details:
OS: Windows 2003
Server: TeamSite 6.7.1 Service Pack 1 Patch 73875
Live site: LiveSite 3.0.2.0.68986
WA per Branch: 20+
Branch: 14+

Restart Teamsite Server by

iwreset -a

. Check the Site Map activity again, is it running smoothly?
If not then check out the log files.

It doesn't mean so. Sometimes, there be some hangout with server so after restarting it runs smoothly.
But, if the problem occurs frequently then might be some issue of concern that will need to raise to the support.
