Spacing in file

Hi everybody,

I have strange problem when I write in a file with perl.

I want to create a XML file and when I make for exemple this code :

<--iw_ostream file_val="/xmlFile.xml">
<--iw_perl><--![CDATA[
#Create feed basic nodes
$xmlProlog = "<--?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8' ?>\n";
$siteMapOpen = '<--siteMap enableLocalization="true" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/AspNet/SiteMap-File-1.0" >';
$siteMapClose = "\n<--/siteMap>";

iwpt_output("$xmlProlog");
iwpt_output("$siteMapOpen");
iwpt_output("$siteMapClose");
]]>
<--/iw_perl>
<--/iw_ostream>

My file has been created but in the begin of my file, I have some spacing..

How to delete these spacing ?

Someone may have a better solution to this but the only way that I have been able to get rid of the space at the beggingin is by having all the code on one line.

Any other ideas?

Remove the newlines after iw_ostream, iwperl, etc

also you do not need CDATA unless you have a complete XML style TPL (post your 1st line of hte TPL if you are not certain
