Expand FileSite Matter Worklist

Wondering if any one would know if the following is possible....

We have a requirement to have a users 'Matters Worklist' in FileSite expand and focus on a specific Workspace in the tree structure. This event would need to be triggered from an external application.

Would this need to be a MAPI call, if it is possible at all?

Any comments would be appreciated.

In theory, you should be able to use Outlook Object Model to catch the OnSelectionChange event to check the passed-in object. If this object is a folder, then you can check the folder name to identify the target folder. You may then do something with it, such as expand and set focus on it.
