Multiple stages with Schedule Publishing Policy

Hi Team,

             We need to add multiple delivery stages to a site in VCM which has the publishing policy as "Scheduled". The error message clearly says that it cannot add multiple stages with "Scheduled or Automatic" publishing type. . Any help is appreciated.

Use custom policy with scheduled enlistment.

 

Although custom policy allows you more generally to extend the “IPublishEligibilies” per ContentType to override the standard system publish metadata (status, publishDate, unpublishDate) with custom, stage-specific criteria, you do not have to do so.  Selecting custom policy without extending IPublishEligibilities will result in the standard system publish metadata applying for all stages.  In other words, if a content item is scheduled for publish on a given date, it will be enlisted for publish to all stages at that same date.
