TS 6.7.1 CLTs are Very Slow

Hi,

We have recently upgraded to TS 6.7.1 SP1 on Windows 2003 server. We/Users noticed that after the upgrade the CMS performance has degraded.

We identified one such area, and found that the IW CLT are taking too much time as compared to the previous version{TS 6.1}.

To prove the same we ran a .bat file on 2 different servers with the store/users/OS/files/CPU/RAM/

We found that
1. On Server A-Having TS 6.1 , IW CLT takes X mins
2. On Server A-Having TS 6.7.1 SP1, IW CLT takes 2X+ mins.

In the .bat file we had 600 CLTs {As below}
iwextattr.exe -g AssetCreationDate /default/main/intranet/bpworld/about_bp/WORKAREA/WorkInProgress/local_assets/ampm-logo_57x96.JPG

We captured the start/end time for the same.

Note: We have attached the CLTs we used for testing.

Have any one of you tried the same.

While I have not run this specific test, I have not seen any significant performance differences.

This certainly could be an environment issue. Is one a VMWare server ? Are you running command from the path or hard coded ? Check your networking setup as well
