Oralc 10G RAC - How to configure 2 hosts

Hello,

We have a new Oracle 10G database with two host servers. We want to configure OpenDeploy to deploy. DataDeploy tries to use oci drivers and does not work. I tried to setup the jdbc-driver, protocol-url and use-oci attributes but it does not work. How can I get this to work?

I have the entry made to tnsnames.ora file and extpected this to work with OCI driver.

This is what I see in log
DBD: Assuming TNS name has been specified for "db" attribute.
DBD: url : jdbc Smiley Surprised

HI Hirishi,

Can you try to get ojdbc14.jar from the db server, and put it under ~ODHome/drivers, re-started OD.

Also make sure that the connection string in this format

actually we have the driver at the location you have mentioned. The problem is we have 2 oracle host IP addresses load balanced (Oracle RAC technology).

Support has a different jar file for use with Oracle RAC. Contact them and they should be able to provide that to you.
