So, I know you can attach an asset and send it as an email in the Web Client. But is there a way to associate a task with an email. For instance, the problem is that since MediaBin has no workflow we are trying to implement a workflow-like approval process. So if an asset is edited and checked back into a folder, is there a way to associate a task to it which would email an adminstrator to let them know that there is an asset for review?

While this is not out-of-the-box functionality, it should not be tremendously difficult to script. You may want to contact our services department to see about customizations.
