web-access-management in WSW

Hi guys,
I am trying to authenticate users of a WSW portal, we'we put together, using an aspx page on a seperate server.
As I understand it, we can do this by enabling web-access-management in the Options.xml file.

I cant seem to find any documentation on this other that the very vague description in the WorkSite Web Customization Guide.

Does anyone where to find more info on this, or even have some examples ?
