Supported Tomcat Versions?

Hi:

We're in the process of rolling out LiveSite (3.1.0) for dynamic delivery of our web site content. According to the manuals, Tomcat 5.0.28 (version bundled with LS installer) is the only officially supported version.

Our corporate standard for Tomcat is version 6.x. Are there any known issues with running LiveSite 3.1 on Tomcat 6? Are there any support implications in doing this if we should run into problems in production?

There should not be any known issues with LS 3.1 on Tomcat6. LS3.1 on Tomcat 6 hopefully result in an smother ride.

That i am not sure to say, it depends on IW support.

Hi all,
I think there will not be any issues as you are going for the higher version of Tomcat.
Higher Version automatically takes care of the lower version.

I would definitely recommend to contact support before implementation,
and try to give the adequate information regarding Versions in this thread.

I guess the standard answer would be "un-supported" configuration .

TS 6.7.2 sp1 will support 6.

You might want to look at the support site there maybe a KB about moving runtime to 6
