Email format issue

Our email notifications are not rendering properly in our email client (Microsoft Outlook 2003/2007) There doesn't seem to be any styling applied. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I've attached a screenshot of the emails being distributed by the workflows.

You need to make sure the URI references for the style sheets and images reference accessible URLs - something like http://servername/iw/css/foo.css, etc.

So my question now is:

Do these out-out-the box templates use a stylesheet and if so where is it located. We haven't made any changes to the mail templates so I would imagine it should render properly.

If you can View Source of the email or right-click on a broken image and choose Properties - you should be able to see what the URI is.
For the images - try to see if you can plug the same address into your browser. If it works there - it could be some setting in your mail reader that is preventing them from showing up correctly.
