Created By / Modified By Import Document By API

Hi All

I am using BASE: Smiley Surprised

WNER_TRUSTEE_RSID to set the Ownership of a document when i import files using the api. It seems the ownership is always defaulting to the user i use to login to the Worksite in the API.

Is there anyway i can set the Created By / Modified By via API ?

Hi,
Are you working WorkSiteMP or WorkSite.
In WorkSiteMP
CreatedBY- document.setOwner(user).
but modifiedby ,i have no idea on this.

Even if i set the created by while importing as you mentioned by calling setOwner. It is taking only the user iam using to login to WOM api. Is it by design or am i missing something ?

Hi,
i cant understand your answer.But its working for me.setOwner method accepts only user object.You can achieve using WOMAPI.
