Hi All,We have encountered a very strange issue in the workflow we are using to submit the files. The following is the brief description of the workflow :-select 100 html files, click on submit, files get attached to the workflow, next task is to look for the DCRs associated with the HTML files and add these DCRs to the workflow.The problem is that it is getting stuck at attaching the DCRs to the workflow.Is there any limitation on the number of files that can be added to the workflow?Would appreciate if someone can provide the answer at the earliest?Thanks,Natasha.
you should post the platform and version, and also HOW you are attaching files - I mean which command. Try to add them in a loop instead of using add multiple files in one go.I never had issues with this kind of task, that is trivial
foreach $file (@files) { $file = "$iwmount$area/$file"; my %attribute_hash = extended_attributes($file); if(length($attribute_hash{'TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryDCR'}) > 0) { my $dcrfile = '/templatedata/'.$attribute_hash{'TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryDocumentType'}.'/data/'.$attribute_hash{'TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryDCR'}; $task->AddFile($dcrfile, "Auto added DCR $dcrfile"); $file_list = $file_list."$dcrfile\n"; $num_files++; }}sub extended_attributes { my $filename = shift; my %attrib_hash; my $command = iw_home()."bin/iwextattr $filename"; # Execute Command Line Tool. my $attribs = `$command`; # Split return value as it returns a new line delimited list my @attribs = split(/\n/, $attribs); foreach my $attrib (@attribs) { # split attribute into name and value my ($key, $value) = split(/=/, $attrib); # Place attribute and value into hash $attrib_hash{$key} = $value; } return %attrib_hash;}

$message = "Attached $num_files DCR's:\n".$file_list;where $file_list is the list containing the names of the all the DCRs
Thanks everyone who spared time and looked into the code. I had the put the log statements as suggested and found that the code for extracting EAs is working fine. The only thing I noticed which was not letting the task to transition onto next task is the comment parameter of the callback method.We were passing the comment as $message = "Attached $num_files DCR's:\n".$file_list;where $file_list is the list containing the names of the all the DCRs We were submitting some 1000 odd files which includes gif,jpg,js,html, finding out the associated DCRs with these HTMLs through the code posted earlier, adding those 200 DCRs to the job and to the comment as well. This was creating the problem and not letting it to transition.So certainly there is a limitation on the comment that we can put in the callback method.Could anyone point out what exactly is the limit?Thanks for you help so farNatasha.
