generating file by compiling it from other page

hi

i was trying to generate an aspx file by giving "iwpt_compile.ipl" within another tpl ,it is compiling as in it is not giving any error message but the "required aspx" file is also not getting generated apart from the base aspx file

the command inside tpl

`iwpt_compile.ipl -pt fullpath/x.tpl(hard coded) -iw_pt-dcr $dcrFilePath(variable) -iw_include-location $dirName(variable) -ofile x.aspx(hard coded)` ;

my $dcrFilePath = iwpt_get_dcr_name();

my $dirName = iwpt_get_ofile_name('dirname');

please guide regarding this

Do you really try to use $dcrFilePath and $dirName variables first and declare/initialize them later
or it's just a code fragment hastily put together?

Regardless, that's how I would address the issue if I were you:
my $command = qq(iwpt_compile.ipl ...);
# Log Out $command
my $result = qx($command 2>&1);
# Log Out $result

Check your logs to see what really happened. If in doubt, run command from CLT again, etc
