I've read previous posts about auto version. My question has to with auto versioning in WEM upon clicking on the publish button. This starts the deployment workflow. It doesn't seem possible to create a custom deployment workflow to pick up the seeds (content items payloadid) in the job and create a version automatically. When I do it, it won't pick up the payload id of the item, and therefore does not create the version.
From past posts, listener was discussed for creating auto version for update events in content item. Is there a way to create a listener for the publish event so the item(s) would be versioned at time that publish button is clicked? Or is there a way to create a program task that would capture the payload id within a deployment workflow, so we can auto version the content items included in the job?
