Callserver params returning null.

Hi

I am trying to pass some data from a js file to a perl file using callserver.
Everything works fine for the js file but I am not able to get the passed parameters in the ipl file.
I am attaching the code files (both js and ipl).

Please suggest.

Hi,

I think the URL you are using for invoking the perl file is not correct.

pls try this URL

var server = window.location.hostname;
IWDatacapture.callServer("http://"+server+"/iw-bin/extattr.ipl",params);

I think it should work.

Try changing:

var url = "c:/iw-home/httpd/iw-bin/extattr.ipl";

to:

var url = "/iw-bin/extattr.ipl";

in your FormAPI code.
The first parameter to callServer is a URL not a file system path.

Hi There,

There was a problem with my first line in the ipl file. I changed
#! C:\progra~1/Interwoven/iw-perl/bin/perl
To
#! C:\iw-home/iw-perl/bin/perl.

Make the above change it worked fine for me.
