DPM Sample Site

Jayaram Ponnusamy

Hi All,

We have sample site (Innovate) with DSM. But, I am looking for sample code for Portal preview site to display the WEM Contents.

Do we have any sample site war file available for Preview Portal site. If any then can some one share the PageTemplate, PageLayout, Region Layout sample code Please.

Thanks in Advance!

Jay

You can build this yourself fairly quickly using the Sample Site code that comes with the Innovate site in WEM 8.5.

Instead of using JSP paths in the Page Template, include the same JSP in the DPM Page Layout. You'll need to add some secondary pages to your Portal site as well (DPM Secondary pages, login, account info).

What might help too is using the -samplesite option in the cda war tool which will generate the correct jars, wars, to support the Innovate site in Portal (using the 'sites' context). If none of this makes sense I can send something more specific with steps, details...

Hi Evan,

Thanks a Lot for your help.

1. I have gonethrough the DPM Developers Guide & Learning Service. Based on that I have created JSPs and updated in both Page Template & PageLayout but still I am not able to Add Any items into the Page (Except Account Information, nothing is coming in the Site)

2. I have placed Page Template's JSP into Page Layout and Make it Page Template to Portal Preview. Also Have added below Seconfary Pages in Portal Sites as well.

Secondary Page Type Use Secondary Page Grid
------------------- ------------------ ----
Ajax Redirect Type Dynamic Portal Module Async Content-Only
Log In Log In
Account Verification Account Verification

3. Already Have generated the sites.war but its working without Portal. As per the requirement I need to use DPM with Potal.
If possible, Could you please share the steps to proceed.

I have attached the screenshot which I am getting currently

Hi Evan,

Also -samplesite option is not working and getting below message:

c:\OpenText\WEM\Content\8_5\bin>vgncdawar -a tomcat -hpd no -c dpm -samplesite

ERROR: Invalid option '-samplesite'.
