Issue with "JSESSIONID Cookies" ERROR

Hi All,

I installed Portal 8.5 on Tomcat 7x in Windows Server 2008. Always I am getting the JSESSIONID Error Page.

I have added emptySessionPath="true" in Tomcat's server.xml also in context.xml I tried "path='/' disableURLRewriting='true'". But still no use.

JSESSIONID Cookies are detected. Please clear cookies of your browser or use a new browser.

Contact your server administrator for assistance.admin@localhost

Could someone help me on this to resolve.

I had same problem and found adding sessionCookiePath=“/“ to context xml fixed this. Also, I needed to disable cross-site scripting security by adding following to Portal's properties.txt (re KB 54322091)

FYI, the solution to add sessionCookiePath=”/” to context.xml is already documented in KB17542851.
