Data Deploy | Replicants in DCT
rohitspathak123
Hi,
We need to design data deploy for DCT having replicants.
Suppose we have 2 replicants in DCT. Do I need to created 2 child tables (one for each replicant) ? I read that if we have replicants we should create child table (data deploy).
1. How does data deploy works in case we are deleting a DCR ?
2. What are the things that we should consider while designing dcr deleting workflow for data deploy ?
3. What are the best practices for designing data base table for data deploy ?

The replicants in DCR are considered as One to many in a parent-child relation. At a high level, you can design your deployment to insert/update rows for each replicants that are present. The deletion of DCR should also delete its corresponding rows in the parent and child tables, by referencing the IWDELTRACKER table- which stores row of info when you deploy your DCRs. Based on the DB schema, you can define your deployment configuration.
