Changing owner of the Workarea

Hi All,

We are facing strange issue here. Suddenly owner of one of the workarea has changed to something like BUILTIN\Administrators, as a result of which none of the Submit workflow works. Strangely this has happened only on one of the workareas. Hence we want to change the owner of this workarea back to what is was. It seems we do not have any CLT for this. Has any one faced this issue before?

Any pointers will be highly appreciated.

Environment:
TS 6.5 SP1
Windows 2003

Hi,
If you have Admin right then you can change the owner of workarea by selecting the workerarea ->properties->owner (find) and select the user.

You can use the Content Center UI to do it,but you must have Administration Rights or An Master Role.Follow these steps

Navigate to the branch of that workarea.
Select workarea ,click on the properties link.
A UI will be open showing the properties of that workarea.
Click on Button "FIND" in front of the label Owner.
Change the Owner as per your requirement.
Save the changes.

I have tried this and work fines except for the default.
Properties for the default cannot be edited which is the reason we are facing this issue.

Hi All,

We have resolved this issue by using iwidmap CLT. It has helped us to restore the original owner.
