WYSIWYG view shows a font different from the rendered font

WYSIWYG view shows a font that is different from the rendered font when users open the DCR for the first time - usually is Times New Roman but when users click on the editor to make a change, the actual font shows up. Have anyone experienced with this issue? Or is there any way we can set the VFE to show the same font in both instances?

Yeah that was annoying for us too. I found that if I inlcuded a style for the body tag in the VFE style file then instead of Times New Roman it used the style in the body style definition.

This is a bit of a hack, but it will use the right font while the DCT is loading.

Add a stylesheet to the DCT, and set a textarea font.

e.g.


textarea{
 font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif !important;
}

You can associate a custom css file with a DCT by setting the "cssurl" attribute in templating.cfg, then add the css code from my earlier post to set a default textarea font for a DCT.

e.g.


      <viewoptions cssurl="/path/to/my/custom/stylesheet/styles.css" actionlist="save; saveas; preview;"/>
