Percentage Layout in latest version
MMar_Ojuel
Hi all,
We have just installed the latest version. For accessibility requirements, we need all areas in the page to have liquid behaviour, thus we cannot use 2 areas in the same row with width="liquid", but we can use percentages. We are noticing a strange behaviour with it: not only the area doesn't fit the full space it was supposed to, but as well inside the area the components don't fill the area space. We've been trying different combinations of percentages but we cannot see any logic in it.
Has anyone been trying something like this?
I attach a screen capture and the layout.
thanks a lot,

This is a bug. As a temporary fix to your final page you could use a css workaround that corrects the width of the area body:
.ls-area-body
{
width:auto!important;
}
This will correct all the area bodies, but this fix should be scoped to those areas that have a percentage-based width. If all your areas are percentage-width then this rule should be fine, but if some of your areas are absolute widths, then you should rewrite the rule above to scope it to just those areas with percentage-width.
If you examine the fixed layout css produced by SitePublisher there should be plenty of hooks for scoping your css selectors to only those areas that are percent width.

Thanks for your answer,
I was checking as well the css generated and I realised about the area-body issue. Is it equivalent to this:
.ls-area-body
{
width:100%;
}
We were trying to get a fully liquid layout,so yes, we were using all percentage layouts.
thanks,
