Hi. I'm working on a CGI to perform similar functions to the OOTB copy/move menu commands, but also update DCR information in the files. The issue I'm running into is how to get information from the Prof UI to let the CGI script know how many files/folders were selected and if they are files or folders. I'm also calling the "iw.teamsite.browse_for_file_or_dir_save", which also doesn't seem to return what like I'm looking for.

So, is what I want possible, or am I going down a completely wrong path?

IW provides "show_env" cgi script. Configure it temporarily in place of your CGI, check few files/directories
and run. You will see all you need to know to get that information in your script via CGI or TeamSite::CGI_lite

That's obviously a hack. What are you trying to achieve?

Agreed. The requirement is to provide a pop up file browser. Compared to writing my own, hacking that seemed easier. I'm ignorant of a better way....

I did experiment with the show_env.cgi. It wasn't as helpful as I was hoping. I see that there are multiple vpaths, which should be an array that I can grab and process, but I was hoping to avoid having to check each object to see if it is a file or folder, etc.

It is what it is. It's easy to carp about what it should have been, please remember though that this is the result
of the POST action - and there is no standard POST Syntax to pass arrays!
