Error Loading "Content Workspace" in Firefox and Chrome browsers

Hello,

We are facing issue to open WEM Content workspace in Firefox & Chrome browser.

Firefox (v35.0):

Error: Permission denied to access property 'vui'

Chrome (39.0.2):

SecurityError: Blocked a frame with origin "http://qudevwem:27110" from accessing a cross-origin frame.

IE (v11):

In IE, Workspace loading fine without any issue.

Can some one help to resolve this issue.

Try this: clear the browser cache and close and reopen your browser.

I tried couple of time. But no changes, Still getting same error.

Is it compatibility issue?

I use same version of FF and Chrome and I have no issues.

Sometimes in the past I had issues when having other applications opened in different browser tabs.

Typically all problem went away after clearing the browser cache and closing and reopening the browser.

I am scare I cannot help you further

This is a security update. If an attacker can modify some file in the web server (the JS one, for example), he can make every loaded pages to download another script (for example to keylog your password or steal your SessionID and send it to his own server).

To avoid it, the browser check the Same-origin policy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Same-origin_policy).

Your problem is that the browser is trying to load something with your script (with an Ajax request) that is on another domain (or subdomain). To avoid it (if it is on your own website) you can:

Copy the element on your own server (but it will be static).

You can change your HTTP header to accept Cross-Origin content. See the Access-Control-Allow-Origin documentation for more information (http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/WD-access-control-20080912/).

Another common culprit is the MS Windows “search domain” or “domain prefix” enforced by your local network settings or DNS.
