Problem in submiting "Publish LiveSite Content" workflow

Hi,
I have facing a problem when deploying images and pages to the Livesite runtime .If the images or pages are alredy there on the runtime , it is showing error and deployment is getting failed .

My LS version is 3.0.2.
TS version is 6.7.1
opendeploy version is 6.1.1

Please help me out.

Hi Himanshu,
I have worked on this workflow and it works fine, as there is a task in workflow Attach Dependencies which check the dependencies related to attached file, if it find any new dependencies (update) then it will attach the dependencies with submitted file and deploy. If a file is already deployed to runtime and there is no changes in file and again it is submitted then it wont deployed this file now.

So, Check the log files and post the errors occurred, that will give some point to understand.

Let's see we submit a dcr(.xml) file, can the system attach all the dependencies when we use PLC workflow.

It seems it woks for those .page but not dcr file(.xml). Or is there any configuration i can do some settings?

No, System will not automatically attach all the dependencies when you submit a DCR using PLC workflow, but for pages it does bcoz some js scripts are run in back ground that sets a extendedAttribute "dependentURIs" to the page.

PLC workflow is created in such a way that when it sees extendedAttribute "dependentURIs" attached to page/dcr/any content it will automatically attach those files set as "dependentURIs" .

So all you do is create a extendedAttribute "dependentURIs" set your images in DCR to it, then PLC workflow will automatically attach the files.

Yes if i set EAs for some particular fields(image e.t.) in xml, then the assets will be attached.
Now the question is:
if there is a textarea in my xml file, is there any method i can get all assets used in this textarea and set EAs for them?

Try to parse your xml and set the links of the assets in your textarea as extended attribute.

Using regex should be the easy way to pick up these kind of assets. something like
