Irm Sdk?

Is there any Records Manager SDK to speak of? Specifically I'd like to extend the right-click context menus in the IRM clients.

As the web client seems to be organised in a similar way to WorkSite Web I've assumed that introducing new menus is done through the ClientMenus javascript. Is that correct?

I'd really like to customise the desktop client too. Is that possible? Is there some plugin architecture that I can hook into?

Guido, starting with version 5.2, there is indeed an IRM SDK that includes support for extending the desktop application menus among other things. Your sales exec will be able to get that to you - it's a separate product.

I'm not sure what you mean about the web client though. As of now, there is not a dedicated IRM web client. Are you looking at extensions to the WorkSite web client that support interaction with IRM? That is a part of the WorkSite Web client, and customization would first be through that system. The IRM SDK may still be useful in that case for any interaction your customization will do with the IRM server, but the basics of adding a new menu command would not be covered by the IRM SDK.
