ThE CC interface is not showing the domain availble.
It is just showing the local machine name.

though i have added domain_list entry in iw.cfg under both [iwcgi] and [iwserver]

Actually, for the iwserver entry (at least on Windows) you do not want the local server name listed - otherwise you get a bunch of annoying error messages in the iwtrace.log:

IWADSI::GetDomain: Failed to bind to directory root. 
IWADSI: Failed to get pointer to server-name root object.

(I found this out recently when upgrading a customer from 5.5.2 to 6.7.2 SP1)

Any idea, why domain name is not appearing on login screen in our case?
We have both 6.7.1 and 6.7.2 running on diff servers but neither of them have domain name.

I would guess that there is some error in your iw.cfg file such that the configuration entry is not being picked up.
If you're on Unix - the most likely cause is that you are modifying IWHOME/etc/iw.cfg instead of /etc/iw.cfg.

Without seeing your environment and the actual iw.cfg file - that's about as much as a I can suggest in terms of probable causes.

We are on Unix and I have checked the correct file -/etc/iw.cfg and there is no entry related to domain name under [iwserver] section.
Is something terribly wrong with this set up as we are not experiencing any noticeable issue without having the domain name on login as wel asl in iw.cfg given the fact we have been working on this system for quite some time now?

did you customize the login page at all? I can see someone altering it so domain doesn't show if you only have one domain your users are going to log into.

I've played with customizing the login page myself and was able to remove the domain field altogether so that users didn't have to select a domain since there is only one domain for users to select.

My guess this is probably what the problem is. Check to see if there is a login.jsp file anywhere in your iw-home/local/config/lib/content_center/customer_src directory. If there is take a look at it and see what changes were made.

this is just a shot in the the dark but in your iw.cfg file you have:

"domain_list=dotcom" under iwserver and "domain_list=DOTCOM" under iwcgi

try making them both lowercase and run iwreset and see if that fixes your issue. i don't know why case would matter but it might.

it was a bug with Teamsite 6.7.2......raisd a support case...they asked to install SP1
