Configuring a publishing stage WEM 10

Hi everyone.

I've installed the last version of WEM and I'm trying to configure it for publishing.

I've read that a cds is installed with the cms installer and it's supossed I don't need to install it.

In the config console->devlivery services->content management state->content delivery services->deployments agents I see deployment agent - mgmt

I don't know if it's enough for publish contents.

And how do I configure for a site and its policies, workflow and stages.

correct, if you're setting up a local delivery stage on the WEM server host you don't need to install a seperate instance of CDS (CMS includes CDS). What you'll need to do:

1. Create a database and user based on the instructions on pages 113-117 of the Planning and Installation Guide (Collation, authentication mode, etc). Make sure the database is XA enabled!

2. If you want to allow search on the delivery stage create a new core in Solr search or InfoFusion Search. I recommend InfoFusion as it's much easier to administer new cores and configure clustering if needed.

3. Right click the stage folder in the config console and select "Create Delivery Stage".

The Create Delivery Stage wizard will guide you through the steps to create the stage and you will be prompted to enter details on the Delivery Stage database and Search Engine. SInce it's a local delivery stage you can re-use the existing Configuration Agent (instead of creating a new one).

Let me know if this makes sense and if you need more guidance I can share a video with you on how to do all this.

and very important after you create your new delivery stage:

1. Right-click on AppSvcs in the new stage and configure: Media

2. Restart the CA

3. Right-click the AppSvcs in the new stage and configure: Dynamic Site or Dynamic Portal (or both).

4. Restart the CA

Ok! Thank you!It worked.

I'm installing it on a VM and when I restarted it some deployments didn't start, their state is NEW, and if I start them manually it doesn't worked...do you know why it could be?

Did you associate the new stage to your site (Site, Site Properties, Deployment tab)? Then associate the content to an approved channel?

Yes and I could publish some contents.

But I restarted the Virtual Machine where I installed WEM and I'm getting an error of JMS Server is shutdown or suspended. I've seen in weblogic where is the JMS Server but I don't know how to start it.
