Deployment to a particular location

Hi All,

I am trying to deploy some content from teamsite using file list deployment.
The OD config file which is used is attached:

The Path from which I am deploying contents from teamsite is :
/Branch/WORKAREA/Content/PROD/jboss-4.2.2.GA/server/all/deploy/abc.war

The Path where it is getting deployed is :
http://servername.com/PROD/jboss-4.2.2.GA/server/all/deploy/abc.war

I don't need this PROD folder on the webserver .

Can anyone suggest what needs to be done for that ??

You should remove the "PROD" from the

pathSpecification

tag. Because it will add to the final source location.

Instead of performing deployment from Content folder, deploy files from PROD folder.

In case it wasn't clear - you need to do both of the things that were suggested.

                </filelist>
            </iwStore>

This assumes that all the file paths referenced in the file list (

$dynamic_filelist

) are specified relative to PROD - which I imagine they already were.

the dynamic file list contains the path : "jboss-4.2.2.GA/server/all/deploy/ManageEstatement.war"

which is under the path "/Branch/WORKAREA/Content/PROD/" .

But it is getting deployed to the path :
"http://servername.com/PROD/jboss-4.2.2.GA/server/all/deploy/ManageEstatement.war"

Any help ??

Just to make a note ..i have modified the opendeploy.ipl so that in the dynamic file list it removes the "PROD" from the file list path .

File List Deployment target Path is a concatenation of targetFilesystem or targetTeamsite
'area' attribute and (relative) Path from the File List Entries.

Note that in this scenario source "area/path name" may be identical to the target area, similar to the
target area or totally different from it
