Dynamic Drop Down Width

Hi All,
I am using TS 6.7.1 in Solaris OS. In one of my DCRs I am populating value to a dynamic drop down. I wanted to know how to increase the width of the drop down? When I took a view source of the DCR i can see the select value is getting width as below;

< select name =' sectionHeader/fileInfo/filePath' id='field_1' class='iw-formspub-selection-widget' onchange='parent.api.iw_dispatch_handleOnChange("1",this);' onfocus=' datacapture.deferredHandleElementSelect("1");' style='width:250px'>

This value 'width:250px' i dont know from where it is picked from. I needed to change it to 450px else some of my drop down values are not visible. How can i do it?

Is there any customization performed for showing drop down in DCT?
The default behavior of drop down's width depends on option's length.

By default it should be like as:
