Is there a simple way, using only OpenDeploy, to deploy a list of files in diferent directories(file list based), into a single directory ?

It depends on the relative paths / directory structure.

If you want to deploy ..../A/B/somefile and .../A/C/anotherfile into target directory X so that they end up as .../X/B/somefile and .../X/C/anotherfile - then it is trivial - you set the source area to .../A and specify the files in the filelist relative to A and that target directory as X.

If you want to deploy .../A/B/somefile and .../A/C/anotherfile into target directory X so that they end up as .../X/somefile and .../X/anotherfile - you would probably need to have multiple file lists (one relative to .../A/B and the other relative to .../A/C) and multiple definitions. You might be able to do it with a single file list and multiple pathSpecification elements, but I don't think so (off the top of my head)

Simple ? no

You can either DNR it or you can initial X number of deployments from the root. Neither are tough, the latter is probably the better approach (you can script it, using the source dir as a variable), but you would be running a *bunch* of deployments.

Thanks for the help.

Since I was implementing a file list deployment I decided on the following :-

As I built the file list I copied them into temp directory, adjusted the file refence for the file list deployment and set the source to the temp directory.

Simple and works like a dream.
