Hi,We have to design a workflow in which once the content is rejected than Content Author will work on it and re-submit for approval. But before re-submitting the content for approval, Content Author should have the ability to change the approver.Flow is like this:1. Content Author creates content 2. Content Author select a approver from list of approver on WF initiation screen3. Content Author submits the content for approval 4. Approver rejects the content and sends back to Content Author5. Content Author works on the content6. Content Author selects a new (or old) approver and submits for approvalWhats the best way to design this ?My Approach-------------If the approver was same, then we donot need to do anything (typical workflow). But since the next time approver is also changing, so after rejection:After the Content Author has re-submitted the content than:1. A CGI task will open "Approver List" . Content Author will select his new approver. 2. A External task will be called and it will set the owner of next task (Approval Task) since the owner will now change3. Approver Task will be invoked with correct new approver as owner of that taskIs there any other way to approach this problem ? The user experience I donot see this as good solution as we are introducing one more task 'External Task" to set the owner.Whats the best way to implement these workflow in which there is a dynamic change of taskowner after workflow has initiated ?~ R
Hi,Are you working on WFT or WFM?In WFM you can call a class/bean within CGI task which handles the work of external task. For this you need to write own java class for this functionality. In this way you can skip another external task.Hope this helps.
