adding more disk space to iw-home

this might have been discussed before and i just can't find it using the devnet search. please point me to any old threads discussing this issue:

basically my client has teamsite installed on 10GB logical partition on linux. we are thinking to increase the parition size to 20GB and i was wondering if anybody has tried it before? and if there is any danger in doing it for teamsite?

i was also wondering about this:
in case of a machine/server going down for any reason (hardware failure...) and assuming we keep the same server name/IP and disk configuration is it possible to move iwhome (from a backup copy) to a different partition or machine? or is it just best to reinstall teamsite?

Hi,

Here are few checkpoints before going ahead:

1) Take the backup of all the Interwoven Products installed.
2) Take the backup of iw-store

Once the operation gets completed:
1) Try to start the IW services, if nothing goes wrong with IW.
2) If it is not starting, copy all the IW backup files to the desired location
3) check the registry for the iw-store, if it is file, restart the service.
4) if service is not starting then final step is to uninstall the TS iw-home
5) Reinstall IW TS. Then, overwrite the iw-store to the new the one and check the registry.
6) Restart the Services.

It is a time consuming task but once you follow all the steps carefully, you will get success.
