Any issues when moving content store from one disk to another?
cpm_dst
Environment is TS6.7.1/OD6.1.1 on Solaris 10 server. This server is used for development work only.
The content store currently resides on a slice of the server disk 0. We are hooking up a new disk array and plan to move the content store onto the new array.
Our system support unit plans to:
- shut down TS,
- install the array
- copy the content store to the array
- mount the array on the same mount point as the existing slice
- re-start TS
Are there any issues or problems likely to come up once TS is re-started? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
David

It sounds like you have the bases covered - the only thing I'd suggest adding to that list of steps is:
- Run iwfsck -d on the backing store after you shut down TeamSite but
before
you move the store.
- Run iwfsck -d on the backing store after you've moved the store, brought up TeamSite and then shut it down again (just to make sure that the iwserver process accessed it in its new location).
As long as the results are the same from before and after - you should be good to go.
If there's a difference in the results - you'll probably want to contact Support.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll add these steps to the list.
Cheers,
