DAS Setup for Metadata

System

Hi,

Has anyone tried configuring DAS with next generation tagUI (ruleset 60) ?

It seems that we cannot set up a DAS for Metadata capture, for any other data capture template except the one, we use under /local/config.

Need some advice on to configure a DAS Setup for Metadata, when a datacapture template is configured under ruleset60.

Thanks
Paul

DAS Setup for Metadata, when a datacapture template is configured under ruleset60.

As i don't know much about ruleset60, so may be my help is not so beneficial to you.

As far as the concern is of DAS Setup for Metadata.
Yes,we can setup DAS for Metadata using the file template

[mdc_ddcfg_uds.template] at location //od-home/ddtemplate.

you have configure it as per the requirement.

Go for the Manual of DD,they are really helpful.

Hi,

By default the dbschema.cfg get's created by referencing the datacapture.cfg template which is under /local/config and the mdc_dd.cfg get's created by referencing this particular dbschema.cfg under /local/config, so no way it check the templates under ruleset60.

If we can combine all the schema's of the template into one dbschema.cfg, and create the mdc_dd.cfg which would involve all the schema's and with the right primary key and foreign key combination, we can achieve configuration of DAS with ruleset 60.

Thanks
Paul

ruleset60 appears in the TeamSite Supplement - Release 6.7.2 manual - but I believe it is a typo, as all other references (starting with 6.7.1 SP1 manuals and also looking at an installation) are to rulesets60 - which is the location for the metadata capture configuration for the "New TagUI" (i.e. the metadata capture form that allows for FormAPI functionality)

Hi

newer version of tagging is capable of calling or using formapi's , inline callout's etc..It is defined in iw-home/local/config/tagui/ruelsets60,

You can refer the supplement mannual of TS 672
