How can we use Java in inline command?

I am trying to populate a drop down in a DCT through an inline command.
I have done it in perl as follows:
DCT Code:

IPL code:
#!C:/Interwoven/TeamSite/iw-perl/bin/iwperl -w

print<

EOT

I want to do this in Java (i.e.in the inline command call a java file and then retrieve values of drop down from that file).
Can anyone please suggest how can this be achieved.

When I tried to put the java class in a package, it did not work. I had to remove the package, place the file class file in /iw-home/httpd/iw-bin/dirname.

Then in my dct, I have the following:

And the Classname should output:

You have to use this kind of form to use packages.here custom folder is the source directory.
