Story Publisher Portlet

Hello,

Is there a description or demonstration on how the Story Publisher Portlet is suppose to work?  

I tried the OpenText Portal Administrator Help - all I found was this:

Story Publisher

Displays links to or renders documents, based on content selection rules, in the module's main view.

Hi Victor, The Story Publisher portlet is one of several portlets that support "Content Access Manager" or "CAM". Here is a link to the CAM Administration Guide:

CAM is a simple Content Management System that is included in OpenText Portal. It provides a simple way to manage static content (Media and HTML pages). The other portlets that support this are: Content Explorer and Content Viewer. You can manage the sources of content available to these portlets using the Content Access Manager menu in the Portal Server console.

The Content Explorer portlets is a "management" portlet allowing Business Users to create and edit content as well as start and manage approval workflows. The Story Publisher and Content Viewer portlets are used to drive presentation content for End Users.

All the content here is driven by CAM and CAM Portlets. We like to think of CAM as the "poor man's" WEM. It can provide very basic Web CMS capabilities at a very low price. There are limitations but it gets the job done.
