new to od:remote difference deployment

I am trying to deploy file using remote differnce deployment through odbase 6.1.1 but i am not able to deploy the files from same server acting as source and target(odbase installed on it).I am attaching deployment configuration file along with log file and odbase and odnode file.Kindly suggest me possible solution.

from logs it is clear that source area does not exist. make sure source area is exist.

I have checked ,source exists under c:\interwoven\OpenDeployNG\tmp\test.
One thing wanna check with u..entry in od base for allowed directories is done for c:\interwoven\OpenDeployNG\tmp,do i need to make entry also for source that's c:\interwoven\OpenDeployNG\tmp\test there?I have checkd the logs, found errors as:

can u kindly also check the odbase file...can u suggest some other source of error.. Smiley Happy

no, entry of source host is not required in allowed hosts. can you check the odbase.log in od-home/log directory if there is any error?

Did you find any error in any other log file?
Also, make sure you restart the serivce after you make change to the odbase.xml

yeah ..its working now..i m now trying to deploy between two different host,one is odbase and other is od reciver. I m getting error as follows:
LIB: 2008-09-25 12:02:55 Receiver-ERROR: ERROR: [d:\interwoven\opendeployng\tmp\azam] is not an allowed deployment path.
LIB: 2008-09-25 12:02:55 ERROR: Failed to deploy local_directory[.] of area[C:\Interwoven\OpenDeployNG\tmp\test]
LIB: 2008-09-25 12:02:55 ERROR: Failed 1 of 1 local_directories

I have made an entry of target host in odbase with allowed directory as d:\interwoven\opendeployng\tmp\azam , the directory does exist on target host. i hav also made entry of allowed directory azam in odrcvr.xml but still this error is coming.Kindly suggest me configuration of odbase and odrcvr . i am attaching log file as well as configuration files.

Did you restart the Receiver process after making the change to the odrcvr.xml file? (iwodcmd serverreset)

yeah...restarted the od reciver many times but i guess this is not the issue Smiley Happy

odbase is punitpsez120849 n od reciever is chdsez90950d >There is no ^M in odnodes,odbase n odrcvr file..can u check the odnodes,odbase n odrcvrfiles attached for some suggestions

Your deployment configuration file defines it's local node as "PUNITPSEZ120849"
The allowed directory for that server is: C:\Interwoven\OpenDeployNG\tmp
Your logfile indicates that it is failing to deploy to \Interwoven\OpenDeployNG\tmp\azam

Please read what Adam has suggested in his second point. Your target path is not present in the allowedhost tag of odrcvr.xml.
Update the file, restart the service and then try.
