Thanks & Regards,

Read the TeamSite FormsPublisher Developer's Guide for your TeamSite version. It has examples of an XSLT presentation template in it.

Mohamed

I am looking into "TeamSite Forms Publisher Developers Guide Release 6.7" pdf and I did not see any reference to XSLT there.

Thanks,
Mohamed

XSLT presentation templates are only supported in version 6.7.1 sp1 and up so if you're using older versions of TeamSite then you don't need to worry about XSLT presentation templates since it's not supported with your version of TeamSite but if you're on 6.7.1 sp1 then you should be looking at the documentation for that version.

Cool. Thanks.

Thanks,

In answer to your original question though (emphasis added):

The answer is "not really" - certainly not to the level of documentation that was provided for the XML-style (or even Perl-style) coding of PTs.

The 672 FormsPublisher Developer's Guide provides a single, un-annotated, example of the "yacht" PT in XSLT format - hardly what I'd call "good documentation".

Most of the onus is on you to find basic XSLT references on the web-at-large (w3schools being a good place to start).

Thanks Ghoti. Especially I am looking for the way to get the external attributes from the XSLT presentation template.

I think that reading the yacht example in the documentation may provide some idea to achieve this.

Thanks & Regards,
Mohamed

Option 1 : To read extended attributes you would likely have to write a custom Xalan extension to access the EA's of the file in question.

The issues with this would be a more complicated development environment as one of the advantages of XSL is not having to develop in TeamSite.

Option 2: You could also pass the EAs as an XML reference that can be opened using the document function. This would mean that you would need to dump the EAs to XML first.
