how to attach csv file to email task

Hi ,

I have a external task that does filelist deployment. After doing so i am creating a CSV file with the list of the files deployed and their EAs.

My question here is how to attach this CSV file to the email task that I am invoking after the filelist deployment. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Do you mean include a link to it, or attach it physically?

If you create the file within the workarea associated with the job - then it should be no problem to include a link to it - either with Perl (TeamSite::WFtask) or Java.

If you are creating this file somewhere outside of the workarea, or you want to physically attach the file, you will probably need to develop your own custom email script that can handle physical attachments (as opposed to links)

Thanks Ghoti, that is what i did. i just create a perl script that attach the file and then send an email with the attachment.
