Call servers on Unix

OK this works on DOS but not Linux

I have a callserver that gets called if a user wants to say a DCR in .../data/path/ that will create the folder if it is not there.

It fails when it creates the directory.

The parent folder (data) has permission of 775 owned by tsadmin and iwglobal.

The callserver touches a temp file (as iwui.nobody) even though the I made the primary group for iwui to iwglobal (and ran iwreset -a)

how can I affect what this call server runs as ?

When I create the folders, it works fine, so I am puzzled as to how to get this working.

Tips/pointers/RTFMs appreciated

Not sure if that will work in your Environment but you can try to use iw_cgi_wrapper to impersonate callServer effective UID. Like [post=142420]here[/post]

Andy, Instead of a Callserver, you could use the following FormAPI stuff:

function setHTMLName(){
var htmlName = getHTMLName();
IWPageGeneration.setOutputFile(htmlName, true);
}

[/html]

The true bit creates the directory structure if it does not already exist.

That would be nice if I were trying to save the HTML, but this is for the DCR.

I will probably need this later because I am doing XSL templates so I do not have a workflow step to generate the content,.
