Fullsize of CGI screen

Hi all,

We have one of CGI tasks in the whole workflow. This CGI task uses Perl script to call a JavaScript for displaying the CGI form.
Normally, IWOV provide a button called "Start Input Task" in the CGI task. When you click this button, the CGI Screen will show up.
My client want this screen to be fullsize so that they don't need to make the screen bigger by using mouse.
Unfortunately I couldn't find any script like window.open to pre-define the screen size.

Does anyone know the size of pop-up CGI screen is default by IWOV or should be sizeable?

In the HTML code that is generated by your CGI you can use something like:

...
  <body onLoad="resizeTo(****,****);">
  ...

but that won't take into account the display resolution of the individual user, so you usually have to code for the lowest common denominator 800x600.

If you search the web you should be able to find all sorts of javascript hacks that one can use to retrieve the dimensions of the screen and use those values instead.

This goes under the heading of HTML/Javascript coding - and has nothing specific to do with TeamSite.

The CGI code generates HTML data - the HTML data and associated javascript is then interpreted by the browser - the browser should then resize the window.

Have you tried it?
