TeamSIte service stops

It has started to happen that the TeamSIte service suddenly stops. After restarting the service, nobody can edit any files. This has already happened twice in the last few days. Any ideas anyone? I am on TS 5.5.2 on WIndows 2k

I can't say why the server would stop without seeing the logs and knowing details about your server's specs (hardware, software, etc), but I can tell you that you can't restart the iwserver service on windows--you must reboot. The TeamSite server service is not restartable on Windows.
