Visual Format content updation issue

In the Interwoven TeamSite 6.7.1 Service Pack 1 (UNIX)- we are facing a problem with the Visual Format Contents during the Previewing and Generating .There is no such issue until the installation of latest patch file (Sp1 patch 3) for Teamsite.In details the issue is:

When any user open the existing page in Edit mode and make some changes/updation in Visual Format(VF) - Saves the VF.Once the VF is saved, the preview option can be used to see the preview. If we clicks the preview option it should first save the DCR and then provide the preview.But in this case it shows the Older (un-updated) content. Same for Generate option. The updated contents of VF is not available once the DCR is closed and opened again.

But every thing works properly , when VF is updated and Saved and then just select the corresponding TextArea of the VF and click the Save option of the DCR.Then the preview or Generate works properly.If you again update anything on the same page and use Preview/Generate directly as usual - it works properly.

Please provide the solution for this case.

When you say save VF, how do you save VF without saving the dcr?

when you say just select the VF, do you mean the focus is inside VF textarea when you save the dcr? Is this VF textarea inside any container/replicant? You need to check the release notes for patch3, if there is any update mentioned about VFE.

Yes there is the container with the "OR" condition in it.....

Is it required / essential to have the Onsave and Onpreview event for all the DCR?........

I think that the notion that was being expressed was: If the focus is still in the VFE field when you perform the save - the unsaved changes in the VFE might not get written out to the DCR.

To test this:

If the first process does not save the changed made to the VFE field but the second process does - that would confirm (my interpretation of) the previous response.
