tomcat redirects

I have a need to redirect urls like below:

http://mysite.com/some-livesite.page?param=A

to

http://mysite.com/some-livesite.page?param=a

ie., change upper case url param to lower case.

My current setup has IIS as front end with jakarta redirector that redirects .page files to tomcat (livesite).

Jakarta does not appear to have a way to configure complex redirects.

Can anyone think of other Tomcat plugins/redirect modules that can do regex based redirects?

Update - I'm looking into HttpRedirectFilter'. If you know of gotcha's let me know.

How about using ServletFilter? I have used them many times. The only important thing to watch out is where you place the filter in reference to other filters. More often than not, you want it right before the OOTB LS Filters.

I'm going to stick my neck out here and ask the "dumb" question: Why are you trying to redirect instead of fix the code that creates the upper-case lettering?
