Pass a variable from cgi task to another task

I have a cgi task where in the user gets an option to select immediate or scheduled deployment option along with a scheduled date.

I want to pass the selected date to another deploy task.Is it possible to pass the date from cgi task to another task

Another way to do that is to write an ipl file and use the cgi module in that (you can pass parameter in that using callback)

This should be posted in the workflow area. You may want to close this thread and post it there. ALso specify what rev of TeamSite and whether you are using WFM or WFT.

In a general case, there are workflow variables that are accessible to external tasks like CGI. So research those.
