Bulk Creation of DCR

We are creating 6 different DCT. We already have the data for each of these DCTs.

We want to create DCRs programatically from the data that we have (we have the content data for each DCT in excel sheet ).

This will make sure that the Content Author does have to create content on the very first day once our CMS application is live.

What's the best way to achive this ?

My Appraoch
------------------
1. Gather data for each DCT in separate excel sheets ( 6 DCT --6 excel sheet or files)
2. Excel sheet will have column for each of the DCT fields
3. Run a macro or PERL program to create individual DCRs files

Let me know if someone has better way of doing this.

Hi,
Am assuming "Content Author does not have to create content on the very first day"
You can write a perl script to do that, because it just the matter of creating xmls and putting it under respective data folders.
Note: you will also have to set EA's while copying it to the data folders.
