DPM – Portal Segments and Importing to WEM for Targeting
I have a DPM environment setup using 10.5 for WEM and Portal. I enabled the OpenText Portal Provider.mgmt.mgmt.portal for Portal Segment Imports. Setup a couple test users in Portal and in LDAP, then setup a target rule on a Channel in Preview using the Segments. And it works. On login, the system recognizes the test users as belonging to certain Segments based upon Portal Groups. (I can see some session variables too with the correct values)
On another setup, I’m using WEM 10.5 but Portal 8.2. This Portal version still has the Segment Condition Service Manager and I’m able to import the Portal Segments into WEM. But on login, the system never identifies the test users as belonging to any Segment.
I’m trying to discover if there’s a configuration service missing, but wondering if it’s related to versions (10.5 and 8.2).
Wondering if anyone has experience and can provide some hints?
